This Sunday we will be selling a few books that all come highly recommended.

Living Life Backward – David Gibson

Living Life Backward is for those who want to learn how to live ‘the good life.’ It is a wise, beautifully written, highly relevant book that takes you through Ecclesiastes and applies it to daily modern struggles. It is one of those books where you want to re-read your last paragraph because it was so interesting and thoughtful. It is one of those books where you read part of it aloud to your friends and loved ones, because you feel it is speaking into the current conversation. It is one of those books that helps you see a little more of Jesus, and how to follow him a little closer today. (Adam Curtis)

Count It All Joy – Helen Roseveare

Helen Roseveare looks back at the times in life where she wondered what the Lord was doing. Knowing that James 1:2 encourages us to ‘count it all joy’ when we face trials, she recounts the many ways in which grappling with this verse opened her eyes to God’s greater purposes and his rich character, without sugar-coating her very real and difficult journey in understanding. Her honest telling of her struggles makes this a book which can speak to everyone without making you feel a failure. (Tamsin Miller)

The Life I Now Live – Joelle Kenny

Joelle Kenny’s honest account is the story of how the girl who thought she was from the ‘wrong sort of family’ was welcomed into God’s family, how a house of bad luck became a house of blessing, and how God can take even the messiest of lives and transform them into adventures for him.
