The children spend the first 15 minutes in church with you and the rest of the church family before going to their age-appropriate groups.
Crèche (0-2s)
For ages 0-2 at the 9.15am service, for ages 0-3 at the 11am and 4pm services.
Our creche is in the Lower Lounge in Church House, right next to the church. We have a team of friendly helpers who will happily look after your baby so you can enjoy the church service. You may decide to stay with your baby which is fine too. You won’t miss out as the service is relayed on a big screen. We have lots of toys, there are nappy changing facilities and mums can feed their babies.
Scramblers (2-4s)
For ages 2-4 at the 9.15am service.
We have plenty of toys and craft activities for the children to enjoy. We encourage them to sit to listen to a Bible story.
CATS (3-6s)
For ages 3-6 at the 11.00am and 4pm services.
There are toys to play with, a craft activity to enjoy and a Bible story to listen to.
Climbers (4-7s)
For ages 4-7 at the 9.15am and 4pm services.
Each week the children learn about Jesus as they listen to a Bible story and have fun playing games, singing songs and completing a craft activity. We aim to give the children a simple Bible overview by the time they leave Climbers.
Explorers (8-11s)
For ages 8-11 at 9.15am, 11.00am and 4.00pm services.
We aim to teach the Bible in a fun and practical way, encouraging the children to deepen their understanding and faith in the Lord Jesus. Our sessions are interactive with games, craft, drama and discussion.
Pathfinders (School Years 7-9s)
For school years 7-9 at the 9.15am, 11.00am and 4.00pm services
We study the same Bible passage as the sermon in the main congregation because we hope this makes it easier for you and your parents to discuss what you are learning. We cover the study in an interactive style, allowing everyone to engage with the passage at their own level.
After Church (School Years 10-13)
For school years 10-13 after the 6.30pm service
We go into the lower lounge after the 6.30pm service. This is a time to ask questions about the sermon or to have a think about some aspect of it. We also just hang out and chat and enjoy each other’s company, sometimes playing a game.
