Hello, I’m Ewan.
Who am I? I suppose that’s something I’m still working out. I don’t have a definite answer, but I can tell you some things about me: I’m fresh out of university. I was at Plymouth, known as Britain’s Ocean City (almost feels like an oxymoron). I’ve just finished studying Psychology (no, I can’t read your mind), and now I’m looking to learn about ministering here at St Mary’s Maidenhead.
St Mary’s church has been my home for many years as I grew up here, being a part of lots of different services over the years. So I’m excited to get stuck back in and meet many of you again, and hear about how tall I’ve grown and how some of you remember me when I was “only this big”. I’m so glad to be welcomed back here with open arms, as a Ministry Trainee no less. This feels like the perfect place to explore the world of church life and get to know myself and God a bit more.
I have lots to learn and I hope we can all bless one another with love and fellowship. Remember, “a cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” (Ecclesiastes 4:12) We’re made to be a team and a family.
God bless.
