A big thank you for your kind messages and generous gift as I stepped down from the staff team in September. Gracy and I feel much loved as I embark on my final year at theological college.
I’m delighted to share the news that from next summer I will serve as curate at Trinity Church Henley. It’s a three / four year training post, and the appointment is still subject to various legalities such as completing my studies!
We’re grateful to God for this provision, at a time of significant uncertainty in the Church of England. It will be a particular joy to work alongside Sam and Lucy Brewster, who some of you will remember from their time at St Mary’s. Please be praying that the gospel partnership between churches in our region continues to flourish.
Meanwhile we’d appreciate your prayers for our adult children Lizzie and Tom as they discern their next steps in life, and for Gracy and me to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus during this time of change. In every circumstance, our Lord Jesus is always the answer. Much love to you all.
