As the new year begins, many of us are starting to plan our summers, and it’s the perfect time to think about Christian summer camps. These camps have been a source of great joy and spiritual growth for so many young people (and their leaders!), so we want to give you a heads-up to get these on your radar.

This is for you: parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, godparents! These camps are happening, and they promise to be a highlight of the summer for young people. Year after year, they provide a brilliant mix of fun, friendships, and spiritual depth, offering a unique opportunity to encounter God and his word in life-changing ways.

Below is a quick introduction to summer camps and specific information for 2025. Let’s dive in!

What Are Summer Camps?

In short, they are week-long residential holidays packed with activities, fun, and opportunities to engage with the Bible and the God revealed in its pages. Think outdoor adventures, team games, worship, and deep discussions—designed to help young people grow in their faith while building meaningful friendships.

As a leader, I can honestly say these camps are a big highlight. Campers return encouraged, spiritually renewed, and with new and stronger bonds with others. The organisations running these camps are fully committed to safeguarding, ensuring all activities are safe and well-managed.

If you’re a parent (or in any role of influence in a young person’s life), I wholeheartedly encourage you to mark these dates and consider these opportunities.
