X- and Shift-Focus are our main youth groups on the church site. Come along for a great time hanging out, making new friends and playing games. Each week we also spend time thinking about God as we have interactive talks from God's word, the Bible. All very welcome.

- What actually happens at X-Focus?
X-Focus is always buzzing with lots of members running around and an awful lot of tuck being eaten! We begin the evening with free time where you're free to just do what you like really. Whether that's playing football (either real or table), playing on the Wii or sitting and chatting to your friends.
We then play a game altogether which a leader has planned and then we head across for a talk which one of the leaders has prepared from the Bible. This talk is always aimed specifically at 10-13 year olds and is quite interactive so they're generally lots of fun. And then we finish off the evening with a bit more free time.
- What if I don't know anyone?
One option is to bring a friend along with you. But everyone at X is really welcoming and the leaders will make sure you're not left out.
- How much does it cost?
A £1 donation each week would help us to cover our costs, and remember to bring a bit of money for the Tuck Shop!
Anyone in school years 10-13.
Every Friday 8pm-10pm (during school term time)
- What actually is Shift-Focus?
Shift-Focus is a pretty standard youth club. We meet for a couple of hours on a Friday night and it's a great place to hang out with your mates. As well as general time spent hanging out and playing pool/table football/real football/uno etc. we always play a main game all together.
The thing which makes Shift slightly different from some other clubs is that all the leaders are Christians and so every week we have a talk from the Bible. These talks are geared towards older teenagers and we generally think about issues and ideas which you guys are facing. These talks are always designed to be interesting for someone who has never been to church before and if you don't like what we have to say then you get your chance to tell us so in 'Backchat' where we chat about the talk in small groups for five minutes or so and ask you your opinion on what's been said.
- How much does it cost?
A donation of £1 each week would help us to cover our costs, and we do have a Tuck Shop so bring a little money with for that too.
