Summer Holiday Club

Children from St Mary’s and the wider community ensure that our August club is always a sold out event! Our popular club is a brilliant opportunity for children in years 1-6 to invite their friends onto the church site to have fun and learn about Jesus.

When is it?

The Holiday club is for children currently in school years 1-6.

It runs over three mornings and this year, 2018,  it will run from Wednesday 29th to Friday 31st August from 9:30am to 12:30pm.

More details will follow soon but do put the dates in your diary and plan to be with us.

On Sunday 2nd September we will finish the club with a service in church at 11am followed by a lunchtime barbecue for the whole family - do plan to join us for this.

What can I expect?

We take over the church site and make full use of our wonderful facilities. The church is unrecognisable as it is decorated and transformed according to the theme of the club. A couple of years ago the theme was 'Mission Impossible' and taught the children why Jesus is the best special agent - he really does have special powers and he is the only one who can save the world. The children have great fun in their small groups, playing games in the garden, doing craft activities and learning more about Jesus.

We are grateful that so many volunteers from the church help with the running of the club. Last time we had over 60 people helping behind the scenes and during the club.
