Workers' Lunch

Thousands of people work in Maidenhead town centre, and since St Mary's is so central, we want to do all we can to serve these local workers. So every Tuesday we run a lunch for any local worker who can spare 40 minutes in the middle of their busy day. Why not take a (much deserved!) break, and join us?

What happens at the Workers' Lunch?

Over soup and sandwiches (which are provided for £1.50), we catch up, hear a 15 minute talk from the Bible, and have some time for discussion. We finish promptly so that everyone can get back to work in good time. It’s informal and relaxed, and there are usually between 15 and 20 people there.

When does it happen?

Every Tuesday in school term time from 1:10pm-1:45pm.

Who is it aimed at?

Anyone who works within striking distance of St Mary's church is very welcome, whether you come along on a Sunday or not. We aim to be accessible for interested enquirers as well as committed Christians.

Where does it meet?

We meet at St Mary's Church, in the glass-fronted welcome area.  If you don't know where to find us, we have directions available!

What are the talks about?

We try to cover a wide range of topics and issues surrounding the Christian faith, aiming to think through how these impact in the work place in particular. This term's schedule is-
